Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how this online store collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you browse the store, place an order, or contact customer support. It applies to the information handled through this website and related store services.

Information we collect and how we obtain it

  • Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, account details, and preferences that you provide when contacting us or using store features.
  • Order and transaction details: products ordered, order history, billing and delivery addresses, order status, return or support requests, and payment method or transaction status. Payment credentials are entered through checkout and are handled by the payment service used for your order.
  • Device and usage details: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from network information, pages viewed, referring page, and interactions with the website. Cookies or similar technologies may collect some of these details.
  • Support communications: the contents of messages, and any information or attachments you choose to send to support.
  • Service-provider information: information supplied to us by providers that help host the store, process payments, fulfill or track orders, protect against fraud, support customers, or, if enabled, measure site use or advertising.

We obtain information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and from service providers involved in a transaction or store operation.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate and secure the store; accept and fulfill orders; take payment; arrange delivery; provide tracking and customer service; process returns, exchanges, and refunds; respond to privacy requests; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain accounting, tax, and business records; comply with legal duties; and understand or improve store performance. If analytics or advertising services are enabled, information may also be used to measure campaigns or deliver advertising, subject to applicable law and your choices.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Cookies and similar technologies may support checkout, cart, security, saved preferences, and site performance. If Google Ads or another analytics or advertising service is enabled, cookies or similar identifiers may be used to measure campaigns or deliver advertising, and relevant device, browsing, or event information may be shared with that provider. You can restrict cookies through your browser controls; blocking essential cookies may affect store functions. Use the Your Privacy Choices form to submit an applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-out.

How information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that host or maintain the store, process payments, deliver orders, provide customer support, secure the website, or keep business records. If analytics or advertising tools are enabled, information may also be disclosed to those providers for measurement or advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer. Service providers receive information needed for their assigned functions and are subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.

We do not exchange personal information for money. Depending on the actual technology and circumstances, some disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a similar regulated activity under state law. You may submit an opt-out request through the privacy choices page or by emailing us.

Legal bases

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform your order and provide requested support; comply with legal duties; protect the store and prevent fraud; maintain necessary business records; and improve store services. Where a law requires consent for optional analytics or advertising, we request or rely on consent for that activity and process applicable withdrawal or opt-out requests.

Retention and security

We keep personal information for the period reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including order fulfillment, customer support, tax and accounting records, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the type and context of the information. We then delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it when reasonably practicable, unless law permits or requires a longer period. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to personal information, a portable copy, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, or information about how it is collected and disclosed. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable; and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

California residents may exercise rights available under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out rights. Residents of other US states may have similar rights under their state privacy laws. To submit a request, use the Your Privacy Choices form or email support@verabradleybag.us.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. We may verify your identity using information reasonably related to your request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted; we may require proof of authorization and may verify the consumer directly. For California requests to know, access, correct, or delete, we confirm receipt within 10 business days and generally respond within 45 calendar days. When necessary, we may take one additional 45-day period and will notify you of the extension and reason. We explain a denial and the appeal process when applicable. If you disagree with our decision, reply to the decision to appeal where the law provides an appeal right. California residents may also submit a complaint to the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General; residents elsewhere may contact the regulator identified by their state law.

Where applicable law requires it, we will treat a qualifying opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. A signal does not by itself request deletion of your account or order records. If you are unsure whether your signal was applied, submit the privacy choices form or email us so we can process the request. If a law gives you an appeal right, you may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision; you may also contact the privacy regulator designated by your state.

Children

This store is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact us to request review or deletion, subject to applicable law.

Third-party services and links

Checkout, payment, shipping, analytics, and other functions may be provided by third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own notices and terms. This website may link to other sites; review the privacy notice of any site you visit.
